The La Pavoni Professional requires patience, a methodical approach and some intuition. There is a learning curve, but if you want to experience the satisfaction that comes from actually making coffee, this is definitely worth considering.
With the exception of the plastic drip tray, everything about the La Pavoni Professional seems to be extremely well made and ready for many years of regular use.
